How Do I Delete Pdf Downloads On My Android Phone? Its Greyed Out
-
at first, i thought that perchance because i tried to delete them with the "photograph" app, then they became gray in the "gallery" app.
but today it became really evident that something is wrong with the "download" folder, some of the pictures that i didn't delete became all grayness! they are not visible any more than.
that is why a few days ago, i asked if someone could spy my pictures thru those chat programs that i installed on the tablet?
has anyone had the same problems, besides?
this is merely and so foreign. and then far, i only had one random reboot due to camera problem.
----
update: i read it online someone had disappearing pictures, etc. they suggested to reboot. so i powered off, and restarted the tablet. and then i checked the download binder again, those gray pictures disappeared. just i call back that some of my downloaded pictures were deleted by the tablet directly.

In general, I recommend moving pictures from the Downloads binder to your usual Pictures or DCIM folder. Things can sometimes go a little screwy with pics in the Downloads binder, particularly if you delete one using a file manager rather than using the actual Downloads "app" to delete information technology.
I suggest using a file director app to copy all pics in your Downloads folder to either Pictures or DCIM, then using the Downloads app to delete all of the files there. If there are all the same greyed out pics in that location, try going to Settings>Apps>All, selecting Downloads or Download Manager, and clearing cache and clearing data there.

so are you lot all saying that those kind of things really happened to other people as well?
i don't retrieve that it has happened to me earlier before my 3rd repair.
i was a little paranoid, i idea that maybe someone is trying to spy me through my chat programs or something.

Similar if I download a file, and then utilize a file manager such equally Total Commander to delete the file from the actual "/storage/emulated0/Download" folder, that file will still testify up in the Downloads "app" (i.eastward., the Downloads selection that you come across in the App Drawer). However, if I try to open that deleted file in the Downloads app, or otherwise try to manipulate it, I'll get an fault, because the bodily file has been deleted. That's why I recommend that people delete downloaded files by using the delete function inside the Downloads app, not by using a file manager.
I suspect what's happening is that the Downloads app maintains a database of what you've downloaded, which gets updated correctly as long every bit you utilize the Downloads app to delete them. Only if you circumvent the Downloads app, you might confuse it.
